Just now, two months into summer, am I finally catching my breath. Grad school has an uncanny ability to drain any and all creative juices, and my batteries finally feel a bit recharged.

This weekend my plans to head back home to Virginia were scrapped so I’m taking a long four day weekend to invest in our domicile. The big project is transforming my back studio into something functional and inspiring. There have been various incarnations over the past year plus but I think it is finally going in a direction that I am proud of.
