You can see the film at various theaters, but it was extra special to see it in Harvey’s neighborhood.
The atmosphere in the theater was electric… the organist played while photographs from the Castro in the 70s flashed on screen. There was so much cheering and audience response that I plan on seeing the film again so I can catch all of the dialog. If you are local, the film plays at the Castro Theatre until Dec 23rd.
