Tipped off by the brilliant folks at Free Range Studios… a simple animation meant to be spread internationally that explains how we need to bring our CO2 levels back down to 350 parts per million. Learn more at 350.org.
So far it is unclear what the 350 movement is doing besides spreading the word, but the man behind the project is Bill McKibben, a published environmentalist, and a “small team of youth” who were inspired by Step it Up 2007. I hadn’t heard of Step it Up, but last year they successfully inspired and coordinated 1400 events to raise awareness about climate change.
I like that 350.or is already set up in 10 different languages and aiming for global cooperation. Keep an eye on them, no doubt this is just the beginning…
