All is well over here in the recovery center, aka our house.
Today is day four post surgery and so far it is my favorite yet. I got up this morning not feeling nauseous, a first in a while, and then went back to visit the surgeon to get my drains out. I’m having an easier time sitting up and walking, and as an added bonus going to the doc meant my first trip out of the house since Tuesday.
If you are interested, I’ve posted some of the photos so far of my recovery. Don’t worry, nothing graphic, mostly me sleeping, me visiting with friends and me wearing funny hats. Gots to keep a sense of humor.
