Leah let me jump on the computer just long enough to read all of the emails from friends that have stacked up today while I mostly slept and moved very slowly. (I’m probably biased, but I think I have the best nurse ever.)
I’ll post a few photos tmw, but just know that everything went great today. My surgery only lasted two hours and I was home and asleep in my bed by 11:30am.
Thank you for all the loving texts, emails, and phonecalls today. I feel lucky to have you all in my life.
Btw… this is a photo of me sleeping by a lake in the Berkshires this summer. That’s where I’ll be sleeping in my dreams tonight.
