Welcome to Thinkradical!

one week to decide.

To paraphrase my favorite transylvanian…”In just seven days we can make you a nominee.”

That’s right, with only one week away from Super Duper Tsunami Non-Stop Wall to Wall Media Coverage Tuesday the buzz is building out here in California. Hell, even my trainer asked me who I was voting for yesterday.I’m still officially on the fence and personally all sorts of conflicted.

I must be one of those 85% or so of Democrats polled in South Carolina who said they’d be happy with any of the three nominees. I know this is the time when we are really supposed to figure out who is supposed to lead our party to victory, but I can’t figure out who’s got a better chance to topple which ever white man leads the GOP. Should I vote for Hillary, who I deeply admire and have for years, who has White House experience and loads of connections? Or area the Republicans so amped and ready to fire ammunition at her that she’s an easy target? Do I go with persuasive dream talking, echos of JFK/RFK and emotional tugs at my heart and line up behind loads of progressives that I admire voting for hOpe? Or does Obama suffer from such idealism that he even if he did win the general election he’d fall flat on his face?

There is more on the San Francisco ballot to decide on and multiple organizations have put out their endorsements, but not surprisingly more than a few have failed to endorse anyone for President. As a sometimes reluctant Democrat, I feel that we are united to change this country and quite apprehensive on how to make it happen.
