Welcome to Thinkradical!

the waiting game…

Last week I submitted all my paperwork to apply to CCA’s new MBA in Design Strategy. I couldn’t be more excited about this innovative program that teaches management skills from within a studio design framework. Business school has been on my radar for years, but I have always had mixed feelings. There was a big part of me that felt like I was walking away from my design ambitions, my somewhat neglected dream of going back to architecture school. And then I found the new DMBA at the California College of the Arts. The program seems perfectly tailored to my interests in business, non-profit managements and design. Not to mention, it’s brand new, and I love getting dirty in new start ups.

So that’s the big news from me… and why I’ve been quiet around here lately. Lots of behind the scenes tinkering, some surface design changes to the site, and some serious application anxieties. (Some of which were assuaged today when the DMBA director Nathan Shedroff posted a little blurb about the applications received so far.)
