you can’t stand under my umbrella ella ella
i almost took a similar photo this morning on my walk to the BART, but didn’t feel likes stopping to snap and get even wetter.
just like these other lost protectors, i think my umbrella was toast about 2.2 minutes after walking outside. it was as if mother nature turned it into an impromptu work of art. it’s sad to see all these umbrellas go. as i walked by others lost to the cause i couldn’t help but wonder what could be made of all this metal and fabric. when the apocalypse comes, mark my words, we’ll all be scrounging for forgotten umbrellas in order to make new shelters.
thanks to sfist for the photo tip…
more soon on the race towards new hampshire…
