spam.
i finally bit the bullet and turned off commenting from unregistered visitors. lately i’ve been getting upwards of 300 spam comments a day. they don’t get published, they just sit in a queue and i delete them. but it’s irritating.
so no more unregistered comments. i generally get one person per month who actually wants to comment, so i shouldn’t be throwing anyone off.
hopefully sooon i will upgrade the site and install some defenses against the spam.
until then… you have to register. my apologies. leave it to a few jerks to ruin the party.
