yesterday, at a comic book convention of all places, i discovered a friend was connected to the indigo girls through the big lesbian chart in the sky… since then i’ve been i’ve been playing all my old music, reminiscing about all the shows. i know it’s seriously the gayest thing ever to be a dyke fan of the girls. but, sometimes stereotypes are true.
and as cheesy as it sounds, listening to the indigo girls made high school more bearable. connecting with other fans gave me a supportive progressive community to grow up in.
i don’t listen to them every day anymore… but when i do i always smile.
and indulging my inner ig geek here’s the list of the shows i’ve seen…
