“twenty oh six”… and the presidency in tv and film
the other morning i caught an interesting discussion of presidential representations in television and film.
i was thrown by one of the guests who continually referred to a cancelled tv show back in “twenty oh one.”
it definitely took me a minute. its definitely shorter than “two thousand and one.”
twenty oh one. huh. is he the only one saying this? are we all ready to make the switch? when (that is if) will everyone switch over?
and more importantly… will kubrick’s movie be renamed?
